D&R Carpentry was founded in 1999 by Darren Legg and Ray King who, having worked in the construction industry for more than 25 years, realised that there was a huge gap in the market for a quality builder to offer a more bespoke service to their customers.

Many building companies were offering a standard service for all customers and not taking into account the individual needs of each customer. As proud craftsmen, Darren and Ray wanted to offer more.
