Your first step is to find a suitable domain name that is available, and register it. This prevents anyone else from using that name.
Many companies can register domains, but prices vary and some have better customer services than others. We do not register domains, but currently recommend Orchard Hosting. They are a small company based entirely in the UK.
You will need to renew your domain registration every year or so (see below) otherwise your domain becomes available for someone else to register.
We can provide hosting for most websites (see prices) and adjust your hosting package, should your requirements change, without disruption to your website.

Domain Registration | UK domains (.co.uk) must be registered and reregistered every two years. Other domains can be registered annually.
Hosting | For a website to be available on the internet, it needs to be stored on a web server. This is known as domain hosting.
